So here's the plan: I'm going to be a Professional Fangirl. On this site, I'm going to do updates twice a week talking about all things fannish, like so:
- Guesses and extrapolations based on whatever little knowledge we have before something new comes out
- Better ideas than what we got
- What It All Means
- How to handle the sometimes problematic stuff that happens in or attaches to our favorite stories
- General Squee
- News, when I want to (if you want constant news, I suggest Nerdist.com!)
- The occasional comic
- The occasional links roundup
Basically, anything fannish or about my favorite fandoms that I feel like talking about each week, but with a sort of educated, thoughtful, writerly and cultural-criticism sort of way of looking at it.
We'll kick off on Monday, Feb 3!
