@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for 12 Monkeys 1.7 "The Keys"

(i couldn't find the promo video this time)

Holy flying fuck you guys. I was expecting the dance thing to be sort of sweet after that promo picture was released, but actually it was so much more adorable than I expected. Cole likes art and has never seen it before! He likes music! He's never danced before but he wants her to teach him! There's food* just being handed to him and he takes it all! And look how sad he was when Cassie doesn't know that he's intentionally trying to make the best of what he's got because he's basically dying because he didn't tell her about that!

But we also got Cassie being traumatized and Cole being so concerned and sweet about how she's coping and whether she was burned. And when things got bad, he called her, more than once--she's probably the only phone number he knows, even. And then when he was dying / about to be exploded, he let down all his guards** and finished the conversations she hasn't had yet and it was heartbreaking and I'm still reeling and flustered and swinging between OH MY GOD in a good way and OH MY GOD in a bad way.

This show, you guys.

I don't think Cole is really dead. 1. He's the main character, the one with agency even over linear storytelling and time itself. And 2. He hasn't gone to 1987 yet. And 3. We're only just past the half-way point of the season, so we know they did not manage to completely stop the virus. But I wouldn't pt it past these writers to have him splintered out after the fire got him so he has to heal, and he's not able to come back for a while. Or have this create another storyline and another Cole comes back and tries to change his own death or something. And I wouldn't be surprised if we have a whole episode stranded in 2015 with a grieving Cassie before we see him again, because they like to kill us like that. Although, if they do that, I hope she's actively grieving and not sobbing alone in the dark--like, they have contacts and stuff now, and without Cole, she's gonna have to make deals and talk to people.

But really what I'm hoping is that she was upset enough that Cole realized this time around that something was up, and took precautions so that this time he didn't die--it just seemed like he did so the timeline is intact.

New stuff to worry about this ep:

  • They had that very personal, very intimate conversation while the bombs were coming in right in front of the leaders of the CIA. Someone in that room is going to have to be like "that stuff only makes sense if there's time travel"--and then will that person be drummed out and upset, or will be be an ally in their fight?
  • What the heck happens in 1987?
  • What did Wexler leak that might hurt them or harm them? How long before that blows up and messes things up?
  • What will a US bombing in Russia do to the state of the world?
What did you guys think about this week's ep? Because I really want to talk about it until next week, and it needs as much public discussion as it can get!

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Arrow 3.15 "Nanda Parbat"

VID

I love this show, but I hope this Ra's alGoul story is done soon because it's making everyone stupid. Like, Laural didn't want to tell her dad that Sarah was dead and left it too long. Oliver was all "I'll just go kill him" and then was dead for three episodes, and then immediately went back to do the same thing like a moron. Malcom is manipulating people for completely confused reasons and it's only making people more weepy and dumb. And because of all this "I'm the boss here" BS from Ollie--which, to be fair, he's always had, though it's been worse lately--Felicity is barely speaking to him, is so tightly wound that she's lost most of her sparkle, and is spending most of her time with Ray who is adorable and much more open than Ollie, but also has barely any space to be a character around all the people being buttheads.

But! The last few eps have given us people finally just confessing and not hiding shit from eachother, and that's been amazing. Thea is way stronger than everyone thought, and she and Roy have things in common again, and she's done with putting up with all this nonsense, so even though she basically ruins everything in the end of this ep, she's the only one who does it by getting to the damned point.

So yeah. I'm a bit frustrated with this middle-of-the-season stuff right now, and I really want a change in plots. So long as that change isn't that Ollie takes over for Dread Pirate Ra's and Nyssa declares a vendetta on him, because that would just be more nonsense.

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Forever 1.16 "Memories of Murder"

This show is so much fun. Like, mostly it's light and quirky and has the great gimmick of a dude who can't die--who also hasn't been needlessly tempting fate in ages--who is younger-looking than his son, and who has studied everything and so knows more than the cops he helps. But it's also got cops who know and do their job without fuss, and it's unexpectedly touching--all the loss Henry has suffered and that gets mirrored in the cases and the lives of these people who he has connected to, even though he says he doesn't do emotions.

And it's a second-generation sort of cops-and-not-cops-solve-crime show--like, they don't make excuses for why Henry is partnered with a cop, and there's no power struggle with her actual cop-partner. That's a conceit of the form and they just accept it and move on, and I love that. Get right to the story.

And this week had Beth from The Walking Dead in it, being creepy and crazy and so different from Beth that I think she'll be able to do anything. Plus, this week it handled S&M pretty evenhandedly and didn't get all sensationalized about it, so there's that.

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Agent Carter 1.8 "Valediction"

You guys. You guys, why is this show not getting the mile-high ratings it deserves*? Did you see this episode? Peggy gets to kick ass, the team works together, Howard steps up and takes responsibility for himself, baddies get punished, Jarvis is alternately adorable and formidable, Sousa is back on Peggy's side, everyone is wonderful, and then there's amazing set up for further action!

Eight episodes does not seem like enough for this show. It feels like it's just gotten started, and that's amazing because it hit the ground running and it was amazing from the start.

So #RenewAgentCarter!

I could watch a whole show just of Peggy and Jarvis being English at each other. Or of Howard inventing stuff. Or of Sousa solving crimes and not being hampered by his missing leg at all.

Things we still need to know:

  • What did Peggy actually do when she set up SHIELD and who did she hire as her first agents? Did she hire people from outside the SSR? Did the SSR cease to exist, or was there overlap?
  • How did HYDRA get into those early days when she was hand-picking all the people who worked for her?
  • Does she marry Sousa? If she doesn't, is it Thompson, and how far does he have to go before I will accept that??
  • How does Howard go from a scoundrel but a brilliant inventor to a mogul who drinks too much and makes his only son hate him? Who is Tony's mom and how does she even start to tame that man enough to get married and have a kid? Does Tony have his idea of who Howard was wrong and will he have to deal with that later?
  • What are the first cases like when SHIELD is very small and the world is still recovering from WWII?
  • What happens to the Screaming Commandos? Do they join her?

NOTES:
* I don't remember if I said this before, but I feel like a) ratings are BS and only measure the lowest common denominator, and b) MCU shows, since they tie into the bigger world of the movies, should be immune to them--they have a structural purpose other than just existing on a channel, and therefore they should be allowed to run as long as they need to, even if ratings aren't stellar, because ratings are dumb and incomplete and damaging to the really interesting shows, even when they're not tied into something else.

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Castle 7.16 "The Wrong Stuff

You know, I love how this show can be basically anything it wants to be--dark and serious, goofy and light, a mystery, a spook-show, a comedy, a romance. But I like best when it's just weird and basically a pile of SF tropes. I wait for these eps each season!

What did you think of "The Wrong Stuff"? I thought...

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Sleepy Hollow 2.18 "Tempus Fugit"

I refuse to even entertain the idea that this might be the series ender, and not just the season end, because despite my many, many objections* to the way this season was handled, it ended the way it used to be and I still love it too much. I'm going to get a season three through sheer force of will alone if I have to!

We still have to address:

  • Ichabod's healing and dealing
  • Abbie's connection to her past, and the implications and she and / or Jenny should be witches
  • That ancestress who is frozen in the gorgon lair
  • All the rest of the world that we didn't see this season--the locals and natives and friends and coworkers and Masons and possible Templars and Hessians
  • There are angels in this world and who of them came to help the Witnesses?
  • The power vacuum left by Moloch
  • Whether that bell managed to actually wake any of the witchbloods
  • Any feelings any of the mains have for each other and aren't paying attention to
  • Macey
  • Three other horsemen, and really, probably ol' headless, too
What do you think?

NOTES:
*Objections:

  1. Katrina messed up the dynamic of the entire cast by being given so much of the story without being given anything to work with for motivations, sense, or emotional impact. They should have committed to making her evil way before the last three eps.
  2. What the heck happened to, like, every side character ever? That whole awesome world S1 built--where did it go?
  3. Why aren't they using the Kindred? Why didn't they at least put it down or something, because it's just wandering around being powerful and unused as far as we know.
  4. Why was Orion given so little space?
  5. Ichabod spent way too much time saying one thing and doing another and looking like a waffly idiot because of it.
  6. Ichabod never knew about his son, but that doesn't seem to matter; Henry was mad at him when he didn't know about him and that also doesn't seem to matter.
  7. Why the flying fuckballs was Hawley brought in? Like, he could have been cool, but not at the expense of turning Jenny into set-dressing and taking over her whole role.
  8. Evil-Frank ended pretty okay, so I take back all the frustration on his part, but why did we never see his awesome daughter, who was possessed and then almost arrested and should have had a great story?
  9. Why didn't Katrina try to contact modern witches? If she'd done that and found that she was alone because there were none, that whole plot that sent her over the edge would have been more believable.
  10. I'm just glad it's over and it ended well.

@pirategirljack liveblog roundup for Gotham 1.17 "Red Hood"

I'm not as wildly obsessive about Gotham as I thought I would be, but I still like it enough to keep watching it--even if poor sappy Jim is not the most interesting part of it. Selina is the most interesting part--and I'd watch a show that was just the kids and probably like it as much or more.

But this week, we get some sweet Alfred backstory!

What did you think of this week's trip into America's Least Livable City?

A functional 'shipping scale for application to televised relationships

So I woke up this morning after watching Continuum and The 100 before bed, with this idea in my head of an actual scale that could be applied to 'ships inside TV shows and across various shows, for the purpose of being a nerd about them.

Here's what I came up with:

Level 1

  • No given ships, so whoever you're shipping is basically all up to you
  • Requires reading-in to be seen as a ship
  • Nobody clearly or consistently interested in anyone else (of the main cast; characters introduced specifically as love interests don't count)
  • Example:
    • Most shows in the first three or so episodes
    • Almost all case-is-more-important-than-people crime shows
    • Continuum, sadly

Level 2

  • A ship is given / characters are clearly interested in each other but don't do anything about it
  • The show doesn't allow much development, so they are in a perpetual state of flirting and dating other people and never just being in love
  • May be caused by network interference more than writer intent
  • Example:
    • About four-ish years of Tony and Ziva
    • The first few years of Bones and X-Files
    • Every single ship on Star Trek: TNG most of the time, dammit all to hell

Level 3

  • One or multiple ships are given, and all are progressing in realistic ways, but no steady dating yet
  • Their love is cannon, and not equivocal or denied
  • Example:
    • Season 5 of X-Files
    • That stretch of Bones where Bones and Booth were inseparable but not dating, and Angela and Hodgins were not dating

Level 4

  • At least one ship is dating in a consistent and dedicated fashion
  • Example:
    • Angela and Hodgins dating before Bones and Booth stopped being weird around each other
    • Rigsby and VanPelt dating while Jane and Lisbon made moon-eyes at each other but weren't dating

Level 5

  • At least one ship is married (or equivalent) and it is not a ploy or a game or a annulled-after-one-day-because-we-were-drunk
  • Their love is so cannon they could shoot down castle walls with it
  • Example:
    • Bones and Booth! Finally! And Angela and Hodgins.
    • Jane and Lisbon! Long after Rigsby and VanPelt
    • Mr Steele and Laura Holt, in that last episode
    • Castle and Beckett!
Level 6
  • Children!
  • Possible for this to precede weddings, since they can be mutually exclusive, in which case it is called Level Alt-5
  • Also possible to be before any of the other emotional states, in which case it will be Alt-whatever they skipped was
  • Example:
    • Alt-5: X-Files, as it turned out
    • Angela and Hodgins; Bones and Booth were Alt-5
Level 7
  • Divorce or Death, not to be trifled with
  • No examples because all my ships are iron-clad and I won't jinx them

So what do you think? Should the system be tweaked or expanded or contracted? Are there other levels or Alt-Levels to add in? Or can we just put this right into practice?

I'm afraid TWD will get too dark

I love this show. I've been watching it since it started lo these many deaths ago, and I've been taken by surprise by every one of the Group who didn't make it, or turned evil, or had to be killed because plot.

But I'm afraid it's going to get too dark for me.

See, it's already gotten darker. There's less people around, less food, more walkers, more psychopaths. Which is realistic. But the first season we had the hope of reunions and making it to the CDC. In the second season, despite the cluster that was staying in the farm, we had the hope that they could settle and start over. Since then, it's been the hope of the prison dashed by the Govorner, then the hope of Terminus dashed by crazy cultish cannibals, and now there's two major deaths in a row, not soon after several other deaths, and more psychos and less food and more dirt, and I'm just...

I'm a firm believer that there has to be something to look forward to in a post-apocalyptic story, something to strive for, something to build a new world on, or else we're just watching The Road in drawn-out form. We're just watching the world die. And what the hell is the point of that? That's super-bleak and hurtful; it just becomes an endless string of watching people we like get killed in creative ways, and that'll get old. I, at least, will stop caring about them.

So, this season's dive into yet more sadness and despair? Eugene was lying, but we've got to find some new reason to hope, some new thing to wish for and strive toward, some new reason to keep being human--and now, five years in, I feel like it's a good time to find something real. Not a hope that literally blows up on them. Not a piece of the old world held up by denial or by lunatic dictators or cannibal weirdos. No, we need something that will actually help, that will start swaying others to Rick's side instead of pitting them always against the world, something that gives people a reasons to not eat each other.

I'm not asking for anything unrealistic. I'm not saying it has to be something easy--in fact, it's better if it's hard and violent and dangerous, on this show. I just want them to find something that will actually help, that they can rally behind. And then they can get proactive as the crazies, and save people from the hospital and from places like Woodbury and Terminus. I haven't read the comic past the very beginning, and I know things really just keep getting worse for everyone, but I also think that TV is a different creature than comics, with less recovery-time between episodes, and a wider audience, and people will start leaving if there's nothing to hope for.

Some suggestions:
  • Immunity. Someone gets bit and doesn't die or turn. Grass-roots science trying to figure it out. This would be a good thing to give to Judith; she was born into this world; she was never not infected.
  • A Cure. This is probably a last-ditch storyline before it closes up shop, preferably in a planned and whole way. But that doesn't mean they can't start looking for one, testing them, figuring out how not to be a mass-mudering fuckhead about it.
  • Mutation. The virus was only creating walkers because it was poorly-adapted, and now, two or so years later, it's adapting so that maybe walkers are still conscious. Or are turning into something else. Think of the moral dilemmas. But if it's adapting to not kill the host, they just have to survive.
  • An actual community of people that isn't led by a lunatic. Either started by Rick, or heard of by him and they go there, and find that it actually is good--and then they have more to defend than just their own stuff and friends, AND a chance to settle down and rebuild. Maybe it's mobile, a whole town on wheels, and that makes it harder to find and more of a hunt.
  • A mission. Something like "find the last CDC scientist" or "build this lab" or "travel to this place" or, hell, "build a rocket and move to the moon". Just something that would make everyone proactive, give them a shared goal other than "don't die". Something that could help the remaining people rebuild.
What would you suggest? How would you give everyone hope? Do you fear it'll get too dark?

@pirategirljack Liveblog roundup for 12 Monkeys 1.6 "The Red Forest"

Hoo boy, you guys, this show is getting intense. First, my tweets, and then some thoughts and stuff at the end:

That's a much nicer display, isn't it? A bit big, and I still have to make it manually, but better than copy-pasting everything line by line, lemme tell ya.

So!

My thoughts are all over the place, and it really makes me love the writers on a soul-deep, writerly level, because damn. Until the show ends (gods forbid) and I can look at it as a whole and all the flux becomes actuality, there's so much that could happen in this show. As someone who watches a lot of TV, I can usually see where storylines are going, and 12 Monkeys manages to walk the line between following genre and television conventions and turning it all right on it's head. It's amazing.

New questions:

  • What did they do to Cassie that involved making her trip balls, see someone who probably wasn't actually there, and then no actually do anything to keep her from escaping? Did they plant something in her mind, all MK Ultra-like? Did they get more than we saw from her? Will she go all mind-controlled and try to kill Cole later??
  • How many jumps does Cole actually have left? Jones said she's not going to let it happen to him, what happened to the others, but she also told him that his time is limited. What happens when he runs out? Does he just die, or does he get stranded somewhere and become the Origin, or does he explode like the others?
    • Also, will he tell Cassie that his time as a time traveler is numbered, and therefore a) she's going to have to carry on on her own at some point, or b) their time together is limited? And if he does, will he push her toward her now-believing ex who still probably loves her, despite his own feelings for her that he hasn't done anything about yet??
    • And will she react by trying to find a cure, which is how I hope she'll react? Because she's a doctor and a healer and someone who has already been working on this problem for two years and has no reason to stop acting?
  • Now that Aaron knows that Cassie was telling the truth, is he going to use all his political connections to help them? Will it get him killed or will it just make him an outlaw?
  • Project TROY sounds like a Trojan horse; does that mean it's a fake out, or does it mean they're sneaking this new weaponized virus in under some other guise?
  • Cole has shown that he actually can change time, but so far it was basically just to make things marginally worse--no West VII threat because of Ramse being in charge, but lots more despair without the program. If he starts being successful, eventually his home timeline will be gone and if he doesn't cease to exist like he wants, but just keeps going back and forth between realities, collecting up the memories of alternate lives, what will he do?
  • What is that red forest about? What does it mean "most of the blood has washed away"? Is it really just a weird hallucination, or is it a real thing, a real place? And is that place somewhere that's happened yet?
  • What's with the milk falling?
  • What's going to happen to Jennifer? Is she more nuts because she saw her fav guy shot and then disappear right before her? Is she the heir to her dad's stuff, regardless of her crazy? Can she pull it together to be helpful to the team?
  • Will we get a moment where Cassie and Cole can just talk over what's happened the last few episodes? Because she hasn't yet gotten to deal with how her partner killed her friend, and he hasn't yet gotten to tell her that she died and it ruined everything and he saved her--or that he's dying because of it. I feel like this is something these two need to do.
  • Will they start to build an army of their own to root out the villains?
  • What more does Jones know than she's letting on?
We're somewhere around the middle of the season, and I'm so on board with all these mysteries, because they're handling it right--they're answering stuff before they move on to new mysteries, and they aren't dragging it all out--it was only one or two episodes before Cassie found out that Cole killed Henri, only a little longer before Jennifer discovered he killed her dad. It's ideal in a show that has so many strands that they get tied down before more happen!

So what did you think? Let's share.

Twelve papers I haven't written about time travel

I've been talking and thinking a lot about time travel, and whenever something takes up this much space in my brain, I like to come up with papers I could write, if I were still being actively academic. Here's twelve papers about time travel:

  1. Closed-loop family trees: The time traveler and the threat of becoming your own ancestor
  2. The Terminator Syndrome: Why time travel to stop events innevitably leads to the events you want to stop
  3. We'll be here again fifteen minutes ago: Time-traveler tense and grammatical imperfection
  4. Is this all for nothing?: Time as a river, changing time as swimming against the current
  5. I'm supposed to be gone: James Cole, time-travel as ultimate suicide, and rebellion against the Fantastic Deathwish
  6. We've seen this all before: Time travel as catalyst for the Moving PreApocalypse in Terminator and 12 Monkeys
  7. The future isn't set: Five ways fictional works take on temporal paradox
  8. The temporal prime directive: How the existence of such a rule proves time is malleable and how it somehow never matters
  9. Time traveler's guide to reality: How to tell if you're in a single-stream reality or a branched multiverse, and what you can do about it
  10. I had to kill him, he was dead already: The complex moral ambiguity of the active time traveler
  11. But when did this start: Three ways to avoid the First Cause paradox
  12. Our fates are entwined: Time travel as romantic meet-cute

@pirategirljack Liveblog roundup for The Flash 1.14 "Fallout"

  • Imma say Barry goes back, stops the other from killing his own young self, and his mom was collateral. #TheFlash
  • Ronnie and Stein are soulmates. #TheFlash
  • Did that dude say "it might as we'll be in Dothraki"? #TheFlash
  • RT @WhoaMellyNYC: "Like, Terminator." Thank you for translating into English, Cisco. #TheFlash
  • I feel like Amanda Waller is gonna want to talk to this soldier guy. #TheFlash
  • "I'm still inside Ronald?" "There has to be a better way to say that." #TheFlash
  • "Dude, that was like, Week Three." I love Cisco so much. #TheFlash
  • Joe just keeps walking into rooms drinking things and taking "guardian" really seriously. #TheFlash
  • Welles. I hope you've got a long game and are not actually evil, bc we'll be needing a new Giles if it isn't you. #TheFlash
  • I apparently have an unstoppable urge to want everyone that comes against a fav to be swayed by Good and recruited. #TheFlash
  • They keep teasing Grodd! #TheFlash
  • Psychic self-injury communication! I don't know how to feel about that. #TheFlash
  • RT @tniwalker: I could seriously watch a #Firestorm spinoff starting Victor Garber and Robbie Amell. They give good fun bickering @CW_TheFlash #TheFlash
  • RT @UrbanNoize: Once Iris makes the Firestorm connection with Ronnie, then it wont be long until it leads her to Barry. #TheFlash
  • Where is he getting all these widgets?? #TheFlash
  • I was kinda hoping they'd have to hug every time or something... #TheFlash
  • RT @iAmourCashmier: Dr.Wells is another Malcolm Merlyn. Both so sneaky. #Arrow #TheFlash #Flash #Flarrow
  • @iAmourCashmier What if they met?
  • RT @_MAG24: #TheFlash alien reference, Martian Manhunter maybe?
  • @_MAG24 Yes please!
  • Caitlyn and Mrs Stein are now in some sort of alternative relationship, I think. #TheFlash
  • "You two are like ten years of Ross and Rachel smushed into one year." #TheFlash
  • Where's the lady that lives there now? Like, they just keep waltzing into that house. #TheFlash
  • "One day soon I'm going to be here again fifteen years ago." #timetravelertense #TheFlash
  • Protect your own? Which side are you on? Apparently, on Grodd's. #TheFlash
What did you think of this week's episode? I'm super-loving Ronnie and Stein being total BFFs who feel each other's pain, and I hope that whole dynamic gets played out well. And I would SO WATCH a spinoff. Not just because I think that this franchise should just keep spinning off each other like a foldable ladder or something. It's a rich, big, juicy world that will soon also have a cartoon and Supergirl on other channels, so why not keep going? These are likely people that won't get time on the big screen. Let them shine here!

PS: I think I like this format for the tweets. Less mess.

Liveblog Roundup for Gotham 1.16 "The Blind Fortune Teller"

This show keeps getting better, which is weird, because it started out pretty strong. And I'm loving interacting with the audience as I go, so here's last night's Tweets...

Oh jeeze, Pengs, what is going on with your club? #gotham
In #Gotham even the clowns are hardcore.
RT @Gotham: The circus is coming to #gotham at 8/7c. One way or another... it'll put a smile on your face. No joke, ya know? http://t.co/giHKB2riMy
Yes! Be a cop-and-not-cop buddy crime solving team! #Gotham
You shit down that shaming, Jim. You do it. #Gotham
It seems that treating your organ donors like slaves would be bad for your stolen organs tho. #Gotham
What if all of these options are Joker and they all think they're the same person so they get treated as one? #Gotham
Tiny little Fish Moony coming at this guy like That Mom at the PTA, only crazy. #Gotham
I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop on our pretty ME. One way or another. Good people have it rough in #Gotham
RT @thenoirguy: WAIT WHY DON'T WE TRAIN DRUG SNAKES IF THAT'S TRUE?! #Gotham
Kid CEO on the case and taking no guff. #Gotham
Penguin plays better piano than his piano player... #Gotham
RT @EasilyEmma: The circus is like an episode of Maury:  "I'm Feuding with my Circus Act Lover!" #gotham
But this steak tho... #Gotham
RT @AlexisDeLaGarza: Jim Gordon is so much more interesting now that he's dating Morena Baccarin #Gotham
TV just loves various Hellfire Clubs, hm. #Gotham
RT @eloqit: A riddle? Get Nygma on it! #Gotham
RT @KathiSeymour: #TeamAlfred #Gotham
"I am not the one who wanted to go out searching for satanist's hatchets. You know what I wanted to do." #Gotham
That's what moms on TV always say when the dad is unknown... #Gotham
RT @AwhHellNaw: Hey Boo, this look from Fish @jadapsmith means you're about to take a beat down!! #Gotham http://t.co/snjxFZby32
So...circuses breed crazies? Poor circuses. #Gotham
RT @cloneposter: Barbara, Ivy and Selina forming a sisterhood of not being too happy with Jim Gordon. #Gotham @Gotham
She's got him wrapped around her finger. Which makes me even more nervous. #Gotham
Butch whaaaaattt??? #Gotham
Look at them underestimating him to his face. #Gotham
Jim just became directly responsible for Robin. #Gotham
"You slept somewhere without razors and you smell like lady soap." #Gotham
Just keep being a condescending dick, everyone on the board. #Gotham
So basically this whole episode is about people dangerously underestimating others, then. #Gotham

What did you think of Gotham 1.16 "The Blind Fortune Teller"?
